Old guys, new company. SSC was started by a group of industry experts with a primary focus on improving the standard of service and product offerings in the small horsepower gas compression/separation market. Our extensive knowledge of operations in the oil and gas equipment and service industry supports the great amount of expertise we have in the compression business.
Market focus
The underserved domestic small BHP gas compression business. Most packages under 50 BHP are the same design, same performance and offer the same efficiency as they have for many years. With new technology, control capabilities and affordable monitoring systems now more common in the industry, a new focus has been on providers to produce smaller, more efficient and reliable compression packages that meet the same exacting standards of the larger packages in service. Rotary or Reciprocating, most equipment providers either offer one or the other, but which type of compressor system to use doesn’t depend on the equipment supplier’s preferred vendor or unit inventory, it depends on the application. We offer both styles and more importantly, we know which will work in your situation best. Our rotary compressor lineup is built around the toughest little screw compressors made for the gas business. Same with our reciprocating compressor frames. Only the industry leaders are represented on our packages. No “proprietary” or odd engine block conversions are used for work requiring strong, reliable continuous duty componentry. We only build and offer packages with proven, readily available components from suppliers you know. When others say “specialized, proprietary and exclusive” you should be thinking hard to service, support and lower value. It’s compression, not rocket science! Services

Our goal is 100% run time and were not satisfied with anything less! Whether it’s one of our own lease units, or a customer owned unit that was built by us or others, we’re committed to making sure it’s performing at the best possible level and making our customer’s money selling gas.
