How sweet it is to work at PB Materials!

We had the Frios Gourmet Pops “Sweet Ride” out today to treat our team to some incredible popsicles. The flavors were amazing and the customer service was even better, huge shoutout to Frios for taking such great care of our crew and bringing plenty of smiles to our afternoon.

Thanks to all of our employees for everything you do. Little moments like these are just one way we show our appreciation and keep PB Materials a great place to work.

Our industry lost one of our own this week.

Pete Martinez III, 38, was killed in a jobsite accident in Lubbock while working with a construction crew. What makes incidents like this especially difficult is that there are no villains, just hardworking people doing a tough job, and lives that are forever changed in a matter of seconds.

We want to extend our condolences to the Martinez family, his coworkers, and everyone involved. Our thoughts are also with the coworker involved and the crew who are carrying the weight of this tragedy.

This is a tragic reminder that our brothers and sisters across the construction industry go to work every day in hazardous environments for their families and communities.

Tonight, we ask everyone in our industry to say a prayer and keep the families in your thoughts.
