I try and put all my efforts into my work, so that it can speak for itself. But when you’re tasked with making multiple pieces for a childhood friend, the pressure builds. I wanted to not only make these Naks wallets beautiful, but I wanted to be sure they were done at a high standard because you know…friends will judge the most and let you know what they truly think. I’m confident will approve of these. I hope your groomsmen love them, my guy!

OOF! Beveling and polishing edges by hand ain’t for the faint of heart. I prefer hand polishing. I’ll see all the blemishes and address them better that way. We start with 230 grit, then a 320 grit before we jump into wet sanding with 600/1000/2000 grits. I don’t use water, I use Trag. Once I feel it’s in a good spot, I’ll tokonole, then wet sand again with 2000 grit before I finish off with Tokonole again and a polishing rag. Total time for 10 wallets: 6+ hours. I believe, this is where your prices are justified. Anyone can cut leather and assemble. Do you have the patience to make it shine?
