We were honored to have Philip Adams Sr, a key leader and subject matter expert at Acumen Building Enterprise, Inc., as one of the guest speakers at the Black History Month Mixer hosted by the COMTO NORCAL Chapter. The event, held in the AC Transit Board meeting room and sponsored by AC Transit, brought together influential transit leaders including Rashidi Barnes, CEO of Tri-Delta Transit, and Joel Young of the AC Transit Board.

A special thank you to AC Transit GM Salvador Llamas for graciously opening the AC Transit Board room to COMTO, and to COMTO itself for organizing such a meaningful event that celebrates the invaluable contributions of Black professionals in transportation.

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (CAHSR) has completed another key milestone in the Central Valley—the 485-ft Avenue 88 Grade Separation in Tulare County. This new overpass spans SR 43, the BNSF railway, and the future high-speed rail corridor.
