Thirsty Thursday! Yes, we are thirsty for a great weekend here at Choppers, with nice cool sunny weather! The rain is supposed to be back later today and possibly tomorrow, and it's nice to have the air cleared and the dry areas getting a little soaking!

Remember, even though it's winter, your defensible areas may still need some attention. We've got blowers to help with the fallen leaves, rakes, shovels and manual hand saws to keep those areas clear. We are working with our partners at Echo, Greenworks, Husqvarna, Stihl and Ego to keep our shop stocked with the latest and greatest in battery and petrol equipment, and if you see something you are interested in, stop by...if we don't have it, we can probably get it for you!

So, this is what fall feels like??? We have a little rain, wind, and just got a lightening warning...so we all know the drill. Make sure you are prepared with a working generator, plenty of wood for the fireplace, non-perishables, water, and all of those things necessary when power is out. Not that the power will go out, better to be prepared!

We hope that this week has been fantastic and what a way to start the downslide to the weekend with rain and cooler temps!

Taco Tuesday on this fantastic fall day! We are so happy the weather is cooperating! To all of our friends that stop in the store, we so appreciate you and your patience when there's a crowd hanging out. We are small but mighty and we do our very best to ensure each of you are taken care of when you walk through the doors. We say this, because at times it gets a bit chaotic and we just want you to know that you are very important to us!

You know where to get tacos, but do you know where to get tree climbing gear??? Choppers...Do you know where to get landscaping equipment??? Choppers....Do you know where to get WC bark boxes and mufflers??? CHOPPERS! We got what you need and if not, we can try to help find it! Come on by and pick up those necessities.

We love a good Monday that has flown by...So Hi and Bye Monday...'til next week!

Don't be scared to come in and check out all things needed for fall! Shovels, rakes, splitters, polesaws and so much more! We are thankful that the power outage last week was not too much of a disruption, but a good reminder that being prepared is always best. If you need a generator, or work on a generator, come on in, we can help find the right size or get yours up and running. Remember, if you've got a generator, it's a must that you routinely start it to make sure it's prepared when you need it. Once or twice a month, start it up and let it run for a bit just to shake out those cobwebs!

Are you "fall"ing in love with tacos today??? Another Tuesday and a great day for some tacos. Cooler weather calls for spicier tacos!

Thinking about the holidays....well they are upon us and will be here in no time...come to Choppers for a visit. Shop early and enjoy the holidays with family and friends. Hey, hey it's a great start to the week, and enjoy the 30 seconds of fall that we've been granted by all mighty Mother Nature.

We would like to take a minute to recognize and show our appreciation to the fire crews that continue to work in our community to help control the Dome Fire. Here at Choppers, we are very lucky to work with the teams and provide whatever equipment and supplies that they may need on an urgent basis. We have had phone calls and visits from teams out of Colorado, Arizona, and Nevada who needed supplies while helping out in Yosemite, and thankfully we could help out too! Thanks to all who are here and continue to help keep this fire contained. You are true heroes!

How was your taco day??? Ours was fantastic and gearing up for a great weekend...fingers crossed weather will be much cooler! The Big Fresno Fair starts today and it might be a great time to visit Fresno and enjoy some family time, also, the Fall Festival is taking place this weekend here in Oakhurst Fri-Sunday at Fresno Flats! Lots of fun happening around town and just a short drive away.

Our service team is busy working our repair and service items and we are officially caught up and running about a week or so turn around...of course that is dependent on parts availability and shipping. Over the past month or so, we've had to adjust our store hours and closing on some Saturdays, and we just want to let you know we really appreciate your patience and support.

Well, well, well...Hello Taco Tuesday on this National Taco Day! What a great day to download some of your favorite chain apps on your phone to get reduced priced or even free tacos today. Heck, take a taco crawl and just taste one of each from your favorite joints around town. It's a great day to have a great day!

When you take a lil' break from all of the taco eating, stop in at Choppers. We are getting ready for a great holiday season and we have some great stuff coming up. We will be offering some new and exciting battery products, within weeks...We've got lots of petrol equipment still available; however, we have noticed that the blower situation is getting low. Most of the blowers we have, might be all we can get for now. While you are thinking this may be due to the "gas" situation in CA, it is not...the blowers have been on a noise ordinance restriction for years and years now, so this will likely NOT BLOW OVER!!! Never fear, the battery handheld and backpack blowers are just as powerful and much easier to use...no tearing a rotator cuff to start! If you are looking for some manual tools, such as hand saws, loppers, hedge trimmers, we've got a great selection of that equipment as well.

Well, thirsty Thursday after a successful taco Tuesday and wacky Wednesday! We love a Friday eve!

The shop will be closed this Saturday, so if you need it and we got it, get on down here!

So, it's ROctober 1st and we are here for the season. Weather might cooperate after this heated weekend, and it might be a great time to get your leaves cleared, your wood split, and those fall chores that prepare us for the cooler weather.

We are getting some new really amazing battery equipment in stock, and with the price of gas these days, it's definitely a great way to pivot and manage the budget a bit better. We've got battery products from Greenworks, Stihl, Echo, Husqvarna, and some Ego coming soon! For the smaller limbing projects, a battery chainsaw is the way to go! Handheld or battery backpack blowers are much improved and definitely powerful! Food for thought....pain at the pump, exact mixing ratios, pull pull pull your shoulder out to get your equipment started....vs. insert charged battery, push a button, and off to the races. While we still have plenty of petrol equipment, it's good to consider the efficiency and economy of battery equipment around the house!
