Yosemite Falls Lumber has been open since 1955 under different names over the years, but we've always been a lumber / hardware store serving Oakhurst and the mountain community. Our general manager & owner, James Bates, has been a part of Yosemite Lumber over half his lifetime, and is able to recognize what a customer is looking for by their description of a product, and also gives valuable advice

on how to do a project. We close on Saturdays for winter only, and re-open Saturdays once the spring weather comes back to stay! As James tells our customers: "If the gate is open, come in!".

We will be closed Monday, 5/25, in observance of this very special day.

In 1950, Congress passed a resolution requesting that the president issue a proclamation calling on Americans to observe Memorial Day as a day of prayer for permanent peace.
In 1968, Congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act, which established Memorial Day as the last Monday in May, in order to create a three-day weekend for federal employees. But Memorial Day didn't actually become an official federal holiday until 1971.

Please remember those that have gone before us regardless of how they left.

Happy Friday to all our friends and guests! We hope you are having a beautiful day today, and are looking forward to a restful or productive weekend.
We are open Saturdays from 9:00 - 1:30 now. We have been open Saturdays since the first weekend of April, and will continue our Saturdays until the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Our weekly hours, Monday through Friday, are 7:00 to approx. 4:30. If you call and plan on getting here by 4:30, we will leave the lights on for you!
