Storm Damage debris update from City of Oakdale..
STORM UPDATE: City crews are still working to clean up damage and address calls related to downed trees from Monday’s overnight storms. Residents are asked to call 651-730-2740 with questions or issues. At this time, the City will continue to remove debris from streets and public right-of-way but cannot collect debris from private trees. If this changes in the future, an update will be provided. Brush and branches can be taken to Public Works for a small fee.
There are still traffic signals in Oakdale that are not working properly. MnDOT has placed stop signs at the intersection of 15th Street and Highway 120/Geneva Avenue N. Please travel with caution until these issues have been resolved.
All City buildings and equipment including lift stations, wells and towers now have power. Xcel Energy has reported that more than 250,000 customers were impacted with outages. If you are still without power, you can view status updates from the Xcel outage map or text “STAT” to “98936.”
