It's not too late to send in your Home & School dues for the 2016-2017 school year. You'll receive a school directory which is really helpful to get in touch with other parents, arrange play dates, coordinate rides for your kids activities, and more.

UNIFORM EXCHANGE!
As another school year winds down, it's time for the annual Uniform Exchange sponsored by the Home & School Board! The uniform exchange will take place in the school gym on Thursday, June 6th from 8-10am. As in years past, this is not really an "exchange" - everyone is welcome to come and pick up uniforms for their children, regardless of whether or not they have any to donate. Clean uniforms in good condition (free of holes or stains) may be dropped off in the bins outside the school office until June 5th.

The school picnic is one of the students' favorite events of the year! Please help us make it a success by volunteering via the link below!

Ascension Home and School is hosting the school picnic on Thursday, May 23rd. (Rain date is May 24th). The Home and School Board is looking for 40 volunteers at Rehm park. This includes two shifts for running one of the many games, working at the water stations, or as first aid. If you are interested in being lending your time and being a part of this great day please sign up on volunteer spot. The link is below.

Summary of the day:
Grades 1st - 3rd will walk and arrive at Rehm at 9:00, play games until 11:00, eat their lunches and return to school around 11:30. (Volunteer Spot shift beginning at 8:50am)
Grades 4th-6th will arrive at Rehm at 11:00, eat their lunches, play games and return to school at 2:00. (Volunteer Spot shift beginning at 11:00)
Grades 7th and 8th will arrive at Longfellow at 11:00, eat their lunches and than Legacy Sports will lead activities until 2:00 when the students will return to school.

If you are available to sign up, please do so by Friday, May 17th.

Lunch from Freddy's will be available for all volunteers!

The Home and School Board Wants You!!

Ascension Home & School Board needs new recruits to help promote community spirit and educational excellence in our school and to have fun doing it! The term of enlistment is 3 years, but the benefit is lifelong for you and your children. Help us enrich the school experience for all Ascension students - all parents eligible.
