We had to work some bull calves that got bigger than I care to cut. I had watched a vet use a device one time and decided to give it a try. Chuck them in a drill and it worked great!! The bleeding was next to nothing and fairly quick and easy. It’s nice having a shop to whip out things. Sorry for no pics of the process.

Dropped off another feeder to another repeat customer this evening. These work out pretty well when it’s muddy. They keep the feed from getting walked into the mud. When it gets too bad around the feeder scoop it up with your hay forks and drop it off someplace new. Try doing that with a light duty, store bought production feeder.

We are trying to do better at taking some pics of all the stuff we get into. So this is some pics of a few jobs recently. We rebuilt several hydraulic cylinders, built some hydraulic hoses, saved a loader, patched a Z pipe in a pivot in a snow storm, rebuilding garbage trucks, designed and cut out a cat 3 planter hitch, designed and cut out some clamp on parallel links from 7x7 to diamond bar, built steel drives for a tracked snow blower to replace the broke plastic factory ones, oh and got a puppy

We had a fun job rebuilding some belly dump doors last week. We cut out new door ends on our plasma table. Then put new pins in the wore linkage and straightened everything up like new. When we installed the doors we did a little adjustment and got the doors to seal up good.

Finishing up a few special order feeders for a repeat costumer. He’s ordered many feeders over the years. They are used mainly for weaning calves. We are building them with smaller station spaces and twice as long as our production feeder.
