Investing in future talent & giving back to our community

United Electronic Industries, part of AMETEK’s Power Systems & Instruments Division (PSID), celebrated receiving the 2025 Helmut N. Friedlaender Leadership Award by partnering with Northeastern University, with support from the .

In honor of this achievement, the AMETEK Foundation made a significant donation to Northeastern, and UEI leadership had the privilege of presenting it in person.

This collaboration supports Northeastern’s Co-op program, helping expand internship opportunities, career pathways, and engagement in emerging fields like AI — while strengthening the pipeline of future talent across AMETEK.
At UEI and across PSID, we’re proud to invest in education, innovation, and the next generation of engineers — and we look forward to continuing this partnership.

We’re excited to welcome Daniel Vazquez to UEI as our new Inside Sales Engineer!

Daniel joins us with a strong engineering foundation, recently completing his M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Boston University and holding a B.E. in Physics from UMass Dartmouth. His background in data‑intensive systems, hardware‑level design, and advanced modeling — combined with his ability to communicate complex topics clearly — makes him a powerful addition to our technical and customer‑facing efforts.

Outside of work, Daniel is a Boston sports fan, health enthusiast, and musician who performs along the East Coast.

We’re excited to welcome Trung Truong to United Electronic Industries as an Electronics Manufacturing Technician.

Trung brings 25+ years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and hardware diagnostics. Most recently, he worked supporting R&D initiatives and testing high-power amplifiers at Analogic Corporation. His expertise and technical strengths include soldering and wiring, electromechanical assembly, digital electronics, and electronic circuit design.

We’re thrilled to have Trung join the UEI team and look forward to the experience and expertise he brings.
