Today, we were proud to participate in the 6th Annual Waconia Works Signing Day at Waconia High School—an event that celebrates the future of manufacturing and skilled trades. We’re very excited to welcome two talented young professionals to our team full-time following graduation, after completing successful apprenticeships with us over the past few months.
Sophia Carmer will join our NYA facility as a Fabricator. She has quickly proven herself as a versatile and capable team member—cross-training across multiple machines, stepping in wherever needed, and bringing a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn to everything she does.
Kamryn Formaneck will join our Waconia facility as an Assembly Technician. From day one, she stood out for her work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to take on new challenges. Her reliability, speed, and strong retention made her a trusted contributor across the shop floor.
We were also proud to have several team members on hand to support the event, including Kyle Glaser (2021 signee), Natalie Uecker (2024 signee), Heather Orth, Paul Peterson, Corey Lockwood, and Chad Krebsbach—demonstrating the strength of this program and the career paths it creates in manufacturing.
Sophia and Kamryn represent exactly what makes the next generation of manufacturing talent so promising. We’re proud to have them on our team and excited for what’s ahead.
