Keeping 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 means creating systems where materials can return to the market again and again as new products.

Our partners at are helping make that possible with Veolia’s new closed-loop PET recycling facility in the UK.

The state-of-the-art plant near Shrewsbury will process up to 80,000 tons of PET trays and bottles annually, converting post-consumer plastics into new food-grade packaging for the UK grocery and food manufacturing sector.

By combining advanced shredding, washing, flaking, and sorting technologies, the project marks a major step forward for mechanical recycling and circular plastics recovery in the UK.

Josh has become an essential part of what makes VAN DYK Recycling Solutions successful in the field. Starting as a Field Service Technician in 2012 and now serving as Start-up Manager, he has helped bring some of the largest and most advanced recycling facilities in North America from installation to full operation.

As recycling systems become more sophisticated, Josh plays a critical role in guiding customers through commissioning, troubleshooting, training, and long-term operational success. His unique ability to combine deep mechanical and operational expertise with an approachable, customer-first mindset has earned him the respect of teams across the industry.

Whether he’s helping fine-tune complex million-dollar systems or training operators onsite, Josh consistently goes above and beyond to make sure every installation succeeds long after startup.
