A clean Grinder is a blank canvas for what comes next. We spent some studio time with the wonderful Little Pip Co. giving their GRINDER® 2 a little care—emptying the tray, clearing away the layers of glass left behind, cleaning around the Aqua Flow System, and getting everything ready for another round of making. We really recommend making sure the area around the Aqua Flow System is thoroughly cleaned to keep the water flowing smoothly!

And honestly, there’s something beautiful about the cleanup itself: all those colors settling together become a tiny record of the pieces that came before.

A huge thank-you to Little Pip Co for their generosity in opening up their studio and sharing their process with us. Take a look at their beautiful stained-glass work, and visit their profile to learn about their work, artistic practice, and upcoming classes! We are so excited to see what they continue to create!

At Techniglass, we’re incredibly grateful to be part of a growing glass community where artists share techniques, lessons, discoveries, and inspiration with one another. The more knowledge we share, the more room there is for all of us to grow!

To all the artists, educators, and makers in the Art Glass community; please keep sharing your tutorials, project walkthroughs, techniques, and creative discoveries! Every process shared gives someone else an opportunity to learn, try something new, and help this incredible community continue to learn together!

Ever wonder how to create a clean opening directly through stained glass?

The incredibly talented Elizabeth of Elizabeth was kind enough to share her process with us, walking through how she carefully bores and refines an opening using THE GRINDER® and THE MINI G® SYSTEM!

We’re incredibly grateful to Elizabeth for sharing her knowledge and for being such a wonderful example of what makes the Art Glass community so special!! Artists openly sharing techniques, ideas, and experience helps all of us continue learning, experimenting, and growing together!

We’d love to keep that spirit going! Share your work, techniques, tips, and discoveries with us and the Art Glass community. Whether it’s something you’ve been practicing for years or a trick you just discovered, you never know who you might inspire or help along the way!

A huge thank-you again to Elizabeth for letting us share her process! Be sure to visit Elizabeth for even more incredible stained glass work, techniques, and inspiration!

The spirit of RAGS Glassfest 2026 continued to shine as retailers, educators, and industry members came together to share knowledge, explore new techniques, and strengthen the incredible community that makes Art Glass thrive!

Glassfest is more than a gathering, it’s a place where ideas are exchanged, class programing created, as the future of the craft is shaped through collaboration and education!

Day 4 of Glassfest featured inspiring demonstrations from retailers across the industry, including Techniglass’s own Randy Wardell sharing insights on PAPYROS ORGANIC Kiln Shelf Paper, LiquiFuse, THE FOILER SYSTEM®, THE EDGER®, and THE RUNNER®!

Following the demonstrations, we had the opportunity to connect one-on-one with retailers through personal lessons using Techniglass tools. These conversations provided invaluable insight into the needs of today’s retailers and how we can continue to offer meaningful support to retailers and the artists and communities they serve!

A heartfelt thank you to RAGS and everyone who continues to invest in education, collaboration, and the growth of the Art Glass industry. We’re grateful to be part of a community built on sharing, learning, and inspiring one another!
