As Glasmesse 2026 comes to a close, Techniglass is incredibly grateful to have once again been part of such an inspiring and unforgettable event!

We are so grateful to TGK GmbH for their generosity, hospitality, and continued dedication to creating a space where the global Art Glass Community can come together, connect, and innovate. It is always a privilege to exhibit alongside such visionary artists, celebrated studios, and pioneering makers, including Oceanside Glass, who brought an incredible sense of artistry, movement, and excitement to the expo floor with their glassblowing deomonstration!

Throughout the weekend, we were thrilled by the reception of The Runner®, along with The Edger® and The Foiler System®. Seeing so many artists engage with the tools firsthand, share their enthusiasm, and explore new possibilities in stained glass workflow made this year’s Glasmesse especially meaningful for our team!

Techniglass wrapped up Day 1 at Glasmesse 2026 yesterday, and what an incredible start it has been!

Techniglass is truly grateful to TGK GmbH for their generosity, hospitality, and for once again hosting such an inspiring event that brings together the very best of the Art Glass world. It is always exciting to exhibit alongside so many innovative artists, studios, and industry pioneers; including Oceanside Glass, whose live glass blowing demonstration brought such energy and excitement to the show floor!

We’ve been thrilled by the response to THE RUNNER®, THE EDGER®, and THE FOILER SYSTEM® throughout the day. Seeing artists experience these tools firsthand, share feedback, and embrace new workflows has made Day 1 especially rewarding.

At this year’s Glass Craft & Bead Expo, one thing was clear; THE RUNNER® made an unforgettable impact!!

From the classroom to the show floor, the excitement around THE RUNNER® was undeniable. Watching artists experience the control, precision, and consistency of score running in real time, and seeing those reactions firsthand, was one of the defining moments of the week!

A special thank you to Narcissus Quagliata, Orpheo Quagliata, and Centro Quagliata for welcoming Techniglass into the classroom and giving us the opportunity to put THE RUNNER® to the test in such an inspiring environment! Seeing the tool actively used in the classroom setting while hearing how it will change the artists' and students' practice; made the experience all the more meaningful!

At this year’s Glass Craft & Bead Expo, the creativity across the art glass community was nothing short of inspiring, and we were proud to support the classroom experience by providing Techniglass Grinders for students and instructors throughout the week!! Seeing artists gather to learn, experiment, and refine their skills is one of the most inspiring parts of GCBE, and we’re grateful to contribute to the hands-on creativity that helps the art glass community continue to grow!

Across the classrooms and the Expo floor, artists had the opportunity to experience the full Techniglass Grinder Series in action. It’s no secret that THE RUNNER® was the star of this year’s Glass Craft & Bead Expo!!

All week, artists gathered around as Mike Hacikyan, the creator of THE RUNNER®, and the Techniglass staff, as they demonstrated just how powerful, precise, and intuitive score running can be with this incredible innovation. Seeing THE RUNNER® in action—and hearing the reactions from artists as scores ran cleanly—was truly one of the highlights of GCBE for us!

The excitement around THE RUNNER® was incredible, and the response from the art glass community said it all. Watching so many artists experience the tool firsthand, ask questions, and immediately see the difference was something we won’t forget anytime soon.

What an incredible week at the Glass Craft & Bead Expo 2026. From the first day of classes through the excitement of the Expo floor, it was amazing to be surrounded by such a passionate and creative art glass community! The energy, talent, and camaraderie that filled GCBE this year made the entire experience truly special.

Techniglass was proud to help support the classroom experience by providing Grinders for instructors and students throughout the week—playing a small part in the hands-on creativity that makes this event so meaningful for artists at every stage.

To everyone who stopped by Booth 826/727, entered our giveaways, shared great conversations, and experienced our newest release, THE RUNNER®—thank you. Your enthusiasm was overwhelming, and we’re incredibly proud to share that THE RUNNER® sold out in less than four hours on the Expo floor!!! The response from the community was beyond what we could have imagined.

Techniglass is incredibly thrilled and honored to exhibit alongside our friend and legendary glass artist Narcissus Quagliata and his studio during Glass Craft & Bead Expo’s 30th Anniversary!

Meet THE EDGER by Techniglass, a brand new essential safety tool designed to refine the edges of freshly cut glass quickly and confidently before the next stages of the stained glass process!!!
