We recently supported one of our mining clients to upgrade their silo system and improve site accessibility for larger haul trucks. To achieve this, the project required modifications to the silo's structural system, including raising the horizontal cross bracing.

Our team delivered structural engineering and design services to evaluate these changes, ensuring the system remained safe, code-compliant, and structurally sound.

Using a 3D point cloud scan, we developed an accurate as-built model, performed a full structural analysis with bearing capacity calculations, and designed foundation improvement modifications.

We're excited to have Conor join us in a Business Development role, where he'll help grow relationships and expand REDD's reach across various industrial sectors.

With a background in Mechanical Engineering and over 4 years of experience in product design, project management, and engineering solutions, Conor brings a unique blend of technical insight and client-focused thinking to the team.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Conor enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and anything outdoors when he's not connecting with clients or digging into project details.

We recently supported a global mining client in evaluating and enhancing the electrical infrastructure at one of their key production sites. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure all facilities meet modern safety standards, maintain operational efficiency, and adhere to evolving regulatory requirements.



Our team provided comprehensive electrical system assessment services to identify potential risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Acting as an initial pilot effort, this engagement is expected to inform future site strategies and broader system evaluations across the client’s portfolio.

Our scope included coordination with plant representatives, site-specific onboarding, and a thorough multi-day walkdown of the facility’s electrical systems. Key activities included inspecting electrical panels, substations, and safety devices, and assessing documentation related to testing, maintenance, and incident history. We also reviewed operational procedures, training programs, and compliance protocols.



The final deliverables included a detailed assessment summary and prioritized recommendations to support ongoing system reliability, safety, and performance optimization. This foundational effort will help the client shape future electrical strategies and strengthen best practices across their operations.

We recently supported a manufacturing expansion project for a facility producing shampoo and conditioner. To help the client double production capacity - without increasing labor - our team provided detailed engineering and design services to integrate new automated equipment into their existing operations.

Our scope included 3D scanning and modeling to ensure accurate equipment placement, equipment specification, process design updates, and utility investigations. We developed detailed engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, piping plans, foundation layouts, and electrical system upgrades to support the installation of two automated production lines, steam jacketed kettles, metering pumps, an access platform, and a new boiler system.

The final deliverables included an Issued for Construction (IFC) package with comprehensive mechanical, structural, process, architectural, and electrical design documents, as well as procurement support for critical components. This expansion will streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and enable the facility to meet growing market demand.

With extensive experience in engineering and project management, Ben has successfully led multimillion-dollar projects across industries, including manufacturing, refining, and light rail construction.
