Update: Please check with forest service for better wood cutting areas. Iv been told much of the piled wood at the edge of China meadow has been taken and what remains is poor burning, deteriorating pine or rounds that have to be hiked out over remaining deadfall. Please be prepared if your going to the woods, maps, shovel, chainsaw, water, food and prep for a night in a car if a tree falls in the road that may keep you for a while.
