Tuesday through Saturday we get regular deliveries from the NAPA distribution centers. Today’s treasures included a new set of high end Optima Batteries for a customers boat. With our network of supplies you can order late in the day usually get your parts the next mornin. Give me a call and let me know what you need. If the line is busy keep trying - it’s a one man show most days, the way small town stores ought to be, where you can build relationships that last, and get service like you will never see at corp owned stores. Did you go adventuring this weekend? I went for my first ride of the year atop Shut Eye Peak. Moto tires, tubes, oils and filters are just some of the things you can get though independently owned parts stores like ours . Please let me know what you want on my shelves - have a great week!

since we have been on a roll … more filter side by sides! This time a it’s a Stihl 131 w**d whacker filter. I have a small selection of these sorts of filters in stock, also small engine fuel filters, fuel primer bulbs, pull starter cord, and spark plugs. Aaah another terribly bad cabin air filter from a 2018 Explorer, 4 years since owning the car, customer thought the AC fan was broken and maybe low on refrigerant… nope just a horribly restricted filter. You should have seen the smile when he felt the fan blow air better than he could remember it ever blowing.

Ooh Boy— check out this nasty air filter. It‘s warm out, and the AC won’t work well when the cabin air filter is as dirty as this! let’s all get in the habit of checking these things more often - the air you breathe in your car is going through something similar. I suggest at the least one new one a year. Our family car gets about 2 or 3 new ones per year driving about 15k miles per year.

Good morning, and thank you for following along. We just passed our 4th anniversary of owning and operating North Fork Auto Parts! Time sure goes quick when you are having fun. Miller's Landing Bass Lake is getting ramped up for summer! Tell your young'ins to get over there and fill out an application. Millers is where my wife Darylyn got her first summer job... and then 6 or 7 more summer jobs as she kept up with college. It's a fantastic place for young adults to grow into being great adults!
