NOW HIRING — TRUCK SCALE OPERATOR
B & D Metal Recyclers is currently looking for a dependable and organized individual to join our team as a Truck Scale Operator.
This is primarily a clerical/customer service position responsible for accurately recording weights for customers and trucks entering and exiting the scrapyard throughout the day.
Position Details:
- Starting Pay: $16.50/hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 7:45 AM–5:00 PM
- Benefits: Available after 90 days
- Location: 1951 Stokes Ave., North Charleston, SC
Primary Duties Include:
- Accurately entering scale weights and recording incoming and outgoing vehicles
- Maintaining organized daily records
- Communicating with customers, drivers, and yard personnel
- Handling a busy work environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, comfortable working with computers, good with customers, and able to pay close attention to detail.
