Successful close-out of a monitoring job at Chimney Hollow Reservoir in Colorado. This SubTwarden was literally stationed on the “edge of a cliff.” Many thanks to Aaron for “hanging” out there and maintaining it for the past four years.

Congratulations to Colaska, Inc. / SECON on completing the KTN Wolfe Point Slope Stability improvements project starting at the edge of the N. Tongass Hwy and Tongass Narrows with the Ketchikan Airport 1,500-ft on the other side. Chris Breeds, SubTerra, Inc. was the the Blast Consultant and Blast Vibration Specialist and Aaron Ahlfinger was the Blast Specialist for this project.

Zebra-mania took over the little town of North Bend, our home base outside of Seattle, this past week as the search was on for a missing zebra. The zebra escaped a trailer on the freeway and had been hanging out in the forest surrounding the town.

The good news is she was safely captured after six days on the lam but not before her story went worldwide. No surprise. This town has many big things going on.
