Today the North Babylon Fire Company would like to pay respect to Firefighter Andre Fletcher. Firefighter Fletcher was a member of Rescue #5 in Staten Island with the FDNY and was also a volunteer Firefighter/ Paramedic with North Babylon Station 2. Firefighter Fletcher was taken from us and the FDNY on September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center.
Please take a moment to reflect on this horrific day that happened 25 years ago.

It will be 25 years since the horrific attack on our Country on September 11, 2001, where thousands of innocent lives were lost.

On Friday, September 11, 2026 on the 25th anniversary of this tragedy the North Babylon Fire Company will join other local fire departments and dignitaries to participate in a Memorial Service at Overlook Beach on the Ocean Parkway at 6:00PM.

The North Babylon Fire Company would like to extend an open invitation to all members of the community to join us in honoring those who gave their life on September 11, 2001.
