Duke’s is looking to hire a skilled and experienced Lumber Yard Foreman to join our team.
Previous lumber yard experience is a plus.
Responsibilities include but not limited to,
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments of lumber and other building materials for quality and accuracy.
Safely load, unload, and secure lumber and other building materials.
Assist customers in selecting the right materials for their projects while providing excellent customer service.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor conditions
Experience in basic hand tool and cutting experience.
Must maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Ability to lift heavy materials and to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Forklift experience required.
Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a small dump truck and trailer.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
