Got spotted twice getting groceries today! Must be the mustache... 😂 If you want to spot me in the wild, come hang out at the 40th American Association of Woodturners Symposium in Raleigh, NC! Put down the random orbit sander and grab a pint! 🍻 Our next Sawdust & Suds meetup is happening Tuesday, May 12th at 7PM over at Elation Brewing.

We get together every 2nd Tuesday of the month—just a bunch of woodworkers talking shop, sharing project wins (and fails), and hanging out by the fire pit. Reconstructive surgery in the shop today! 💃 This isn't exactly woodworking, but when a souvenir breaks, the CA glue and activator come to the rescue. Managed to fix the arm and only slightly glue my fingers together.

What do AI, woodworking tools, and wooden underpants have in common? Meet bird brAIn! We’re bringing artificial intelligence into the workshop, and things are already getting weird.

We asked our AI for some quick build ideas and ended up with blueprints for "lumber-undies" featuring half-lap joints and a curved 2x4 waistband. Even the AI is warning us about the 80-grit sandpaper regret! Should we actually build this wooden underwear assembly, or move on to a project that won't leave us with splinters in the worst places?
