Shop has been busy busy the last few months.. job after job after job, grinding away, knocking them out one by one and it ain’t slowing down.. Super thankful for each and every customer we’ve had the pleasure of doing business with. Here’s a couple jobs we recently finished.
Made quite a few repairs on a local food truck from new aluminum tread plate and repairing broken gas lines, repairing some of the trailer wiring, new electric trailer jack, and buttoning up on some of the trim that over the years worked loose. Our most recent job we cut off the old beat up and broken steps on this boat trailer, and fabricated new steps, redid the supports for the steps, and finished up the wiring for the trailer lights and welded up several cracks on the front side steps.

Two different jobs all in a few days work. Local construction company hit us up and asked if we could build them a metal tote for a telehandler on a very short deadline. We built the tote to customer specs and delivered it within two days! Big shoutout to Faulkner Land Solutions for loading this beast of a tote on our trailer so we could deliver it! (Be sure and hit up Trevyn Faulkner with Faulkner Land Solutions for all your dirt/gravel work!) Meanwhile another customer wanted a small lift on their overland camper trailer and brought us a pair of struts and said can you make it work… after we installed a small spacer between the axle and leaf springs, we built custom set of brackets and welded them all in to accommodate the customers wishes. We appreciate all the work! Give us a shout for all your welding/fab needs, trailer upgrades/repair.

Just wrapped up this raft hauler. Customer wanted to be able to haul larger rafts so after we stripped the old fenders and light brackets, we lengthened the trailer 3ft, relocated the axle further back, welded on light brackets, new fenders, rear hitch, and added deck boards to extend the deck. Lastly we hit it with a fresh coat of paint and re-wired the trailer. Customer was extremely pleased with the end result! Give us a shout for all your trailer needs 🤙

It’s been a minute since we last uploaded to our page, but here’s our most recent job. Took a stripped down camper trailer frame and converted it to a tandem kayak trailer, relocated the axles, extended the tongue of the trailer, stiffened up the main backbone of the trailer, and fabbed up a paddle basket. This rig is ready to put in some work 💪
We can do just about anything to customize or repair a trailer. Need that bent up trailer jack replaced or possibly those beat up fenders replaced? Need a new set of trailer ramps? Customer brought us their boat with the rear bench seat already cut to accommodate a more comfortable driving position. After some minor trimming and prep work to get super good fitment, we cut/bent a replacement piece and welded it in for good. Thanks for the support! Onto to the next!

Busy few days here at the shop. We knocked out this giggin rack, mounted/wired customer supplied lights in which we built custom brackets to support the fuse block and cutoff switch, which turned out absolutely clean!! In the midst of this, we also knocked out mower deck repair, chimney cap repair, and fabbed up a paper tuning support bracket for a local archery shop. Giggin season is here, with the temps getting cooler by the day, giggin is only going to heat up! Need a rack fabbed up? Need lights mounted and wired up? Give us a shout!

Another set of trailer fender replacements done! These fenders had definitely seen better days. After removing the old beat up fenders, we went with back with some steel tread plate fenders, added supports both front and back. Repaired a couple minor cracks in the trailer frame. After some paint, this trailers going back to the owner. Thanks again!!

Out with the old, in with the new. These existing fenders on this utility trailer had taken quite the beating over the years. After cutting the old ones we off, we welded on these new steel tread plate fenders and added some bracing on the front and back sides of each fender. These bad boys are stout! After a coat of paint, we delivered the trailer back to the customer. Onto the next!

Fun upgrade to this overland camping trailer. We added 25 gallon water tank and strapped up it down with some in house made tank straps. Bolted on an on demand water pressure diaphragm pump, and two water hook ups as well as gas cap style quick fill for adding water to the tank. Clean, functional, and aesthetically pleasing! We’re all about quality here at JMC welding and fab!
