Full turnkey bowl feeder system in action.

This build includes the bowl, hopper, and inline, feeding a gray clip with consistent orientation and delivery.
The system ships complete to a machine builder, where a blow escapement will be added downstream for final integration.

Clear scope. Clean handoff. Built to integrate.

☀️ The solar industry is booming — and automation is keeping pace.

This system feeds a special aluminum bracket, merging multiple lanes into a single stream to achieve 30 parts per minute with consistent orientation and spacing.

Designed for:
• High-volume solar component production
• Tight tolerances on lightweight aluminum parts
• Reliable line merging without sacrificing rate or part control

As solar manufacturing scales, robust feeding and material handling becomes the difference between hitting numbers and fighting downtime.

Proud of what our team at Feeding Concepts Inc. continues to deliver for forward-thinking machine builders and OEMs.

From Our Bowls to Their Build: A Perfect DIY Feeder Collaboration

Check this out: we’ve got two pin feeder bowls running smoothly, each pin perfectly oriented in line thanks to a simple air-jet setup.

Here’s the cool part: we’re just providing the bowls, the loose FC-200 controls, and the air lines. The machine builder is taking care of all the final inline tooling, mounting everything on his plate, and integrating it into his assembly cell.

In short, it’s a true DIY package that saves time and cost. We supply the bowls and essentials; they handle the custom integration. That’s how smart automation works.

Family and friends around the table celebrating Zach and Lauren’s birthdays — and Sharon’s one year of sobriety.

Grateful beyond words for the people who show up, support each other, and remind us what really matters.
A lot of life, a lot of growth, and a lot of blessings in one night.

Very thankful. Very blessed.

Sometimes Orientation Isn’t the Problem — It’s the Solution

Sometimes the best automation solutions aren’t about forcing the ideal orientation — they’re about choosing the right one.

In this application, a small bottle couldn’t be reliably stood upright at the required rate. Rather than fight physics, the machine builder changed the strategy.

The bottle is fed end-to-end with the open end leading, rotated 90 degrees, and then cleanly inserted into the assembly station at speed. Simple. Stable. Repeatable.

Another viable approach would be feeding the bottle end-to-end through a flexible tube, allowing it to transition to a vertical position and be released one at a time, open end up.

Different paths. Same objective.
Good automation comes down to understanding geometry, mass, and control — not forcing parts to behave.

Reducing Lead Time While Increasing Margins

We have a couple of DIY bowl packages going out for a customer where we’re supplying the vibratory bowls, hoppers, and untooled inline drives.

This approach allows them to assemble and integrate the system in-house, cutting delivery time and reducing upfront capital. It also lets them leverage their internal labor, increase margins, and keep projects moving without waiting on a fully tooled, turnkey build.

Sometimes flexibility and speed are just as valuable as a complete system.

New Year. Grateful Heart.

As the year turns, I’ve been reflecting on how little of this journey was done alone.

To our customers — thank you for trusting us with your work and your challenges.
To our vendors and partners — thank you for showing up, delivering, and standing with us.
To our employees — your effort, pride, and commitment are the backbone of everything we build.
To my family and friends — thank you for the patience, encouragement, and quiet support that carried me through more than you know.

Every business milestone, every hard lesson, every win and setback was shaped by people who chose to help, teach, and believe.

I don’t take any of it for granted.

Here’s to a new year — with gratitude for where we’ve been, humility for what we’re building, and faith in what’s ahead.

Happy New Year.
