Meet Jo Ann Kirkpatrick
Every successful family business has someone keeping everything running behind the scenes... and at Alpine Refrigeration, that's Jo Ann.
Jo Ann has been part of Alpine since day one, which also means she's been working alongside her husband, Kenny, since day one. If you've ever worked with your spouse, you know that's either a relationship builder... or an extreme sport.
While Kenny is out fixing refrigeration systems, Jo Ann is in the office making sure Kenny knows where he's supposed to be, who he's supposed to call, and what paperwork he forgot to bring back.
She keeps up with scheduling, customer communication, invoicing, billing, job records, vendor coordination, follow-ups, and about a hundred other things that make the business run smoothly. She's basically the air traffic controller for Alpine.
She's also mastered the art of saying, "Did you check your truck?" and "I already told you that this morning," without even raising her voice.
Working with your husband means work conversations somehow make it to the dinner table, weekends, vacations, and just about everywhere else. Thankfully, Jo Ann has enough patience for both the business and Kenny.
Her organization, dedication, and attention to detail have helped Alpine Refrigeration grow from the very beginning. Customers may not always see everything she does behind the scenes, but they benefit from it every single day.
Jo Ann is the glue that holds the office together, the calm in the chaos, and one of the biggest reasons Alpine Refrigeration continues to run so smoothly.
And let's be honest... behind every successful refrigeration company is a wife making sure her husband remembers where he's supposed to be.
