Niles International is ISO 9001-2008 certified and manufactures a complete line of standard and flattened expanded metal, grating and security fencing products for domestic and export use. Most of the expanded metal products are available in a wide range of ductile material, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, red metals, titanium, plastic, zinc, precious metals, copp

er, brass, bronze and most ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The company offers a large selection of stocked expanded metal inventory or custom designs and sizes. Value added services such as shearing, custom fabrication and the application of special finishes are available. Niles International carries expanded materials that can be used to replace most perforated, woven/welded wire or any other open area materials while enhancing appearance with various architectural designs.

In early 2027, we will revamp and move our aging 10-foot expander to a new location, preparing for the addition of a new, heavy-duty 10-foot expander with coil and sheet capacity. This expansion will allow us to increase inventory and better serve our customers.

Equipment is in place, and production is underway in our all-new Precision and Aerospace manufacturing space. Our team of skilled professionals manufactures ISO and AS certified light and medium gauge expanded materials and mesh patterns. We are here to serve you with new and existing mesh patterns and applications.

The advantage to our customers is that the Aerospace and Precision divisions use interchangeable machine components and controls from our friends at Bender (https://benmetal.de/en/mechanical-engineering/) for consistency and quality in our products.

Niles Expanded Metals & Plastics has a workforce with the technical expertise to produce a complete range of products, from foils to plate, for acoustics, aerospace, architecture, construction, filtration, industrial/distribution, medical, safety, and security.

New Divisions:

Heated Surfaces Division: Equipment shipping to Niles this summer.
Security Fittings Fabrication Division: Preparing existing spaces for manufacturing.

New Employee Spaces:

NExT Aerospace started as a unit for Aeromesh, which provides aircraft lightning strike protection. It is now producing mesh for a new heated surface technology that will combine with Aeromesh LSP with aircraft anti-icing to produce a single product for offered by The Advanced Composites Group.

Our NExT Precision and Aerospace cells are now undergoing improvements for the next generation, which involves repurposing 25% of existing 110,000-square-foot manufacturing and office spaces.

Our continuous improvement strategy, driven by our ISO/AS quality standards, is part of Expanding Our Company by;
o Adding new equipment.
o Regular preventative maintenance.
o Introduction of new product lines.
o Vertical manufacturing, fabrication.

New floor being prepped for new NExT manufacturing space.

New NExT Manufacturing Space

The beginning of our next generation NExT Precision and Aerospace cells is underway. This is one of many ongoing projects that involves repurposing of 25% of existing 110,000 square feet manufacturing and office spaces, the result of which will improve manufacturing and operations efficiency.

Our strategy is to increase capacity in our industrial/distribution, architectural, security, aerospace, renewable energy, and add heated surfaces product lines.
