A year in severe paste service — and ready for another.

This Class 1500 DSS Severe Service Knife Gate Valve had been in service for one year when it came in for preventive maintenance with our distributor, TechFlow in Mexico. Because the mine took a proactive approach to maintenance, the valve was restored by replacing only the soft goods.

The result: substantial cost savings, reduced risk of an unplanned outage and lost production, and a safer environment for both employees and the surrounding environment.

Now it’s ready to go back into service for another year.

"Coop" joins our team as Regional Sales Manager, bringing 20+ years of valve industry experience across manufacturing and distribution. His combination of technical expertise and a relationship driven sales approach will be a valuable asset to both our end users and distribution partners as he looks after the Rockies and Northwestern U.S.
