Penn Care recently delivered a 2026 Braun Chief XL Ford F-550 4X4 Diesel Type I ambulance to the Anderson Fire Department in Anderson, IN. The module was custom-designed to meet the needs of the Anderson Fire Department.
Features include:
-additional batteries
-custom interior cabinets
-all seating positions have 4-point harness seats,
- interior walls are blacked out with red upholstery.
The exterior graphics match their existing fleet and were installed by Grayson Graphics in Elkhart IN. Special thanks to EMS Division Chief Todd Cawthorn, Fire Chief Dave Cravens, and all the men and women of the Anderson Fire Fighters Local 1262. This ambulance was sold and delivered by Penn Care’s Northern Indiana Account Manager Tony Crum.

🚑 There’s something special about seeing an ambulance outside of an emergency call.

One of our employees recently spotted Edwardsburg's MSV-II 170 Type III ambulance making its way through a local parade. Events like these are a great reminder of the connection first responders have with the communities they serve every day.
