Coming summer of 2024!!!!
Big things happening at Commercial Fabricators, Inc. in the past few months. We have purchased a HGTech Multi-Function 12000kw Laser capable of handing material 20 inches wide and / or tall, with a 40ft infeed and a 35ft outfeed. It will make processing of 40ft material a breeze. With automatic loading and unloading, including a single member weight capacity of 3500lbs, this machine can process beams, channels, angles, square and rectangle tubing, flat bar, split Tee's, as well as being able to cut steel members up to 1 1/2 inches thick. The laser will also mark layout lines on the material for faster fabrication. This will change the entire process of fabrication in our shop. More accuracy, better quality, and more capabilities, will help us to keep up with the demands of the steel construction industry for years to come.
In addition, Commercial Fabricators, Inc. has also purchased and already have in service, a new 4 wheel blast machine from Pangborn. This machine can provide SP-6 through an SP-10 surface prep which is very important in the steel construction industry. It has a capacity of being able to blast material up to 6ft wide and 3ft tall. It has a fully computerized operating system which helps to get the surface of the material spot on for the different types of paints and finishes required in the industry today.
