🎉 Today we're celebrating 60 years of Newport Rental Service! (No foolin'!)

Founded on April 1, 1966, by Everett and Shirley Lawrence, Newport Rental Service has been proudly family owned and operated ever since. Everett built something truly special here on the Oregon Coast — a business rooted in community, hard work, and showing up for our neighbors when they need us most.

After Everett's retirement, his son Steve Lawrence carried on that tradition, and today the business is owned and operated by Steve's sons — Josh and Jon Lawrence — making us a proud three-generation family business!

Over six decades, we've helped countless homeowners, contractors, and businesses tackle everything from weekend projects to major jobs. We wouldn't be here without YOUR support — thank you, Newport and the surrounding communities, for 60 amazing years.

The John Deere 550K bulldozer is a hydrostatic, mid-size crawler dozer known for its precision, power, and comfort. It features an 85 HP Final Tier 4 John Deere PowerTech engine and a twin-path hydrostatic transmission for infinite speed control. A standard 6-way Power-Angle-Tilt (PAT) blade allows for versatile grading, and a factory-installed or available rear ripper attachment adds the capability for breaking up tough ground.

Thanksgiving morning for us…finding out that someone had shattered our front window, broke into our small, family-run business, and helped themselves to our merchandise. If you discover that your buddy/spouse/neighbor suddenly has a brand new chainsaw - that they didn’t have Wednesday - please let us know. We’d really love to get our equipment back and see the criminal(s) brought to justice before they break into other local businesses.
