"Hello friends! I hope this will help any of my Van friends looking for a paddle board/kayak rack solution.

My only frustration with our van was that with the solar panels and air conditioning on the roof, we didn’t have a great solution for traveling with my paddle boards. Many trips were spent negotiating 11’ to 14’ boards down the center isle inside.

After researching several options and checking out reviews and comments from other van/SUP people, I found Dan at VertiRack.

The fact that this solution lets me side mount my boards is a huge thing for me. No climbing ladders and negotiating 20 to 30 lbs over my head. There’s no awkward angles to try and attach to. It’s straight forward and really well made. Since install we’ve travelled over 300 miles and it has been rock solid the whole way. I don’t even notice it. There’s no wind sheer, strange sounds or loss of driving ability.

In addition to being impressed with the rack solution, I have to give a huge shout out to Dan who owns VertiRack. His attention to detail, customer service and all around nice guy attitude made the experience over the top. Have you ever met someone and instantly knew you would like to hang out and have a beer with them. He’s that kinda guy.

Look, I don’t write a lot of reviews. I’m not someone who pushes an agenda but I do believe in recognizing a good company and a solution that makes my life better. If you need a paddle board or kayak rack, call Vertirack and see if they can help you out.
