Purchasing Agent - Immediate Opening
As a Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and services to support our manufacturing and production processes. You will play a key role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly by maintaining a well-organized and efficient supply chain. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase materials, components, and equipment needed for manufacturing within the electronic industry.
Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, terms, and conditions to ensure the best value for the company.
Monitor inventory levels, track order status, and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
Collaborate with various departments, including engineering and production, to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
Evaluate supplier performance and develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with vendors.
Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and supplier reliability.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Purchasing Agent, Buyer, or in a similar role preferred
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Detail-oriented and well-organized with a focus on accuracy.
Adept at analyzing market trends and supplier capabilities.
