General Linen Service, Inc. is accepting applications for a full-time Route Service Driver. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. A DOT physical exam is required. As a member of our driving team, you must have good customer service and excellent driving skills. Qualified applicants must have a valid driver's license issued in the state in which they reside. Salary is commensurate with prior experience. General Linen Services, Inc is located in Newburyport, MA. We are a family owned and operated linen and uniform rental provider. We service Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island

Dear Friends,

As some of you may already know, General Linen Service, Inc. was the victim of a cybercrime a number of years ago at the hands of General Linen Service LLC, of Somersworth, NH.
Roughly five years ago, representatives of General Linen Service, LLC, of Somersworth, NH, hacked into our electronic files to steal detailed information about our customers and our billing practices. General Linen Service, LLC, of Somersworth, NH then dispatched its sales team to meet with many of you to try and convince you to change companies and leave us.
After a lengthy investigation conducted by the FBI and US Attorney, General Linen Service, LLC, of Somersworth, NH has plead guilty in federal court to felony charges for its illegal actions.
Competition is a healthy part of business, but theft and deception is inexcusable.
We wanted you to know this information for a number of reasons, most importantly because the names of the two companies in this case are nearly identical. We treasure our relationship with our clients, one that is built on trust and good service, and it is critical that everyone knows we are the victim of this crime.
The company pleading guilty to stealing information is General Linen Service, LLC of Somersworth, New Hampshire.
As you know, our company name is General Linen Service, Inc., of Newburyport, Massachusetts.
This was a five-year ordeal during which we spent countless hours being interviewed and compiling information for the authorities. Although the legal process is not yet complete, and there are more steps to be taken before the entire situation is resolved, please know that you, our customer and our friend, remain our top priority. We are relieved to finally get this incident behind us and we want to remind everyone that we are here to serve your professional needs.
