Alcoa Warrick Operations employees faced some tough competition Friday at Evansville Regional Sports Commission's Office Olympics at University of Southern Indiana, but we were able to defend our first-place title in the tug-of-war challenge.

Beyond the competition, our team networked with the more than 400 employees from over 30 businesses from across the region.

To celebrate the remarkable diversity of people who make up Alcoa, we recognize Immigrant Heritage Week from June 22 to June 26. Today's spotlight is on Kelvin from Alcoa Warrick Operations. Watch as he shares his immigrant story: where he came from, what the journey looked like, and what it means to be an Alcoan.

At Alcoa, our AWARE inclusion group (Alcoans Working Actively for Racial-Ethnic Equality) encourages dialogue and action to raise awareness and foster a sense of belonging and equity for all races, ethnicities and cultures, reflecting the communities in which we operate. Demonstrating our Care for People value, AWARE is open to all employees who want to learn from and support one another.
