🎂⚾ WHAT A WEEKEND IN NEWBURGH! ⚾🎂
Another Newburgh Cake Eater Classic presented by Nothing Bundt Cakes Evansville is officially in the books, and we can’t say THANK YOU enough to everyone who helped make this weekend such a success!
To the teams and families who traveled to Newburgh, our coaches, umpires, volunteers, field crews, concession workers, vendors, sponsors and everyone working behind the scenes — you made this weekend possible. From the first pitch to the final out, our parks were packed with great baseball, great competition and memories these kids will carry with them for a long time.
Tournaments like the Cake Eater Classic mean so much more than baseball. They bring hundreds of players and families into our community — supporting local restaurants, hotels, shops, gas stations and other Newburgh-area businesses. At the same time, tournament proceeds are reinvested directly back into Newburgh Junior Baseball, helping us maintain and improve our facilities and continue providing affordable baseball opportunities and programs for kids in our community.
A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor Nothing Bundt Cakes, for continuing to support our league and this special event.
We also want to recognize the businesses whose support helped us make this weekend happen:
⚾ Step Right Up Rentals
⚾ Sunbelt Rentals Newburgh
⚾ Hopf Equipment - Evansville
And most importantly, thank you to every volunteer who gave up part of their weekend for our kids. Youth baseball doesn’t happen without people willing to step up, lend a hand and invest in their community.
We’re proud of what the Cake Eater Classic has become, proud to welcome so many families to Newburgh, and even more proud of what these events allow us to continue building for the next generation of players.
Thank you for another unforgettable weekend at the ballpark! 🎂⚾
