Congratulations to Alejandro Remy from Martin Bachmann Keller EIRL (Surquillo, Peru) for this outstanding finalist entry showcasing the CLIMAX FF5300 Fl**ge Facer used to machine an RTJ fl**ge at a natural gas power plant.

The 22-inch, 2500-class RTJ fl**ge was mounted on a high-pressure pipe and had sustained damage. After taking precise measurements from both the fl**ge and the new RTJ ring, the FF5300 was installed and the fl**ge was re-machined to OEM specifications in less than one day.

This project highlights efficient on-site fl**ge repair that restored a critical high-pressure connection quickly and accurately, minimizing downtime at the power plant.

Congratulations to Coleton McKinsey from Pro Line Machining (Gillette, Wyoming, USA) for this impressive finalist entry showcasing the CLIMAX BB7100 Line Boring Machine in action.

Using the BB7100, Coleton oversized cam brass for a long-time customer on a Bucyrus-Erie 2570W. The project involved line boring an outboard bore measuring approximately 44 inches in diameter, along with a secondary bore of 33 inches, demonstrating the machine’s capability on large-scale equipment.

This image shows the hands-on experience needed to perform line boring work on large-scale equipment in real field conditions.

Congratulations to T&T In Situ Machining GmbH (Norderstedt, Germany) for this impressive entry showcasing the CLIMAX CM6200 Circular Mill during a Voith Schneider Propeller project for Voith Group.

Using the CM6200, the team machined two large fl**ges for Voith Schneider Propellers to precise specifications. The work included facing the top surface, machining inner and outer diameters, and accurately marking and drilling bolt patterns. The completed fl**ges are now ready for installation in a high-performance marine propulsion system.

This image reflects the level of precision, planning, and on-site expertise required to execute complex marine repairs to exacting standards, where accuracy directly impacts performance and reliability.
