🚨 BREAKING: The Future of Flight Just Hit Turbulence

Two Xpeng AeroHT eVTOLs reportedly collided during a rehearsal for the Changchun Air Show in China. One aircraft caught fire after landing, and at least one passenger was taken to the hospital with injuries.

Xpeng AeroHT, the flying car division of Xpeng, has been leading China's push into the eVTOL and flying car industry. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

As the race toward flying cars accelerates, safety remains the most important challenge.

It focuses on the development of modular flying cars, tilt-rotor flying cars, eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing), and eVTOL flying cars. Last year, Xpeng Aeroht made headlines after its Land Aircraft Carrier (LAC) made the first public flight, receiving over 2,000 orders with a price tag of around 2 million yuan (280,940 USD). The LAC got a special flight permit in the UAE on September 11, 2025.
