This week we had the pleasure of hosting NYCDDC interns for a site visit to our Tide Gate Bridge Reconstruction project in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. The group received an overview of the project's history, scope, and current progress, followed by a guided tour of the active construction areas, where they observed bridge demolition, structural reconstruction, utility improvements, and the phased approach used to maintain flood control and site operations throughout construction.
This 1938 flood-control asset along Flushing Creek is undergoing a complete superstructure replacement, with EnTech serving as the prime REI consultant for NYCDDC.
