We are proud to support the ACE Mentor Program of America through our team’s involvement with this important organization that supports high school students in their pursuit of careers in architecture, construction, and engineering through mentoring, hands-on experience, and industry exposure.

ACE Team 6, comprised of students from high schools across New York City, recently gathered at Gensler's office to present their end-of-year project that involved a thoughtfully designed transit hub in Astoria, Queens, aimed at improving connectivity in a transportation "desert" by integrating trains, buses, and ferries.

Big thanks to our mentors—Scott Rubin, Isaac Gadikian, Arianne Bubulka, and Michael Scardigno—for guiding the students throughout the program, and to Caitlin Ormsbee, PMP, INCE Bd. Cert. for serving as a juror.

Great to see fellow teams from Gensler, Jaros, Baum & Bolles, Turner Construction Company, and Gilsanz Murray Steficek also presenting inspiring work. Always a rewarding experience to support the next generation of AEC professionals through the ACE Mentor Program!

We had a blast celebrating Bring Your Child to Work Day! Our office was buzzing with energy as the kids explored the office, got a hands-on learning experience in our sound room, and took part in a fun, interactive lesson on vibrations led by our acoustics team. They also enjoyed games, painting, playing music—and of course, pizza and an ice cream bar!

We’re thrilled to have served as the acoustical consultant for The Finery, recently honored as NAIOP Nashville’s Mixed-Use Development of the Year!

This dynamic, integrated development brings together creative office space, thoughtfully curated retail, and urban-focused residential living—all designed to elevate the urban dweller experience. Our team established and coordinated the acoustical design for each building to help achieve its signature sound.

We are excited to share that our Principal, Alexis D. Kurtz, recently collaborated with Fredrick County’s planning staff to offer expert insight on noise monitoring for data centers. Her recommendations played a key role in the county’s decision to update its standards for noise impact analysis.

We had the exciting opportunity to provide IT, audiovisual, security, and acoustic consulting for Disney’s new downtown NYC campus. Our role included developing the technology vision and strategy to combine many different business entities into one campus. The objective was to enable seamless collaboration across teams, through innovative technology solutions that facilitate a unified culture.

This panel will be addressing neurodiversity amongst patients, staff, and visitors in healthcare settings. Big shout out to our team for taking part in the Cycle for Survival NYC Real Estate Industry Ride and contributing to the fight against rare cancers! This impactful fundraiser, a program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in partnership with Equinox, supports innovative research and clinical trials for rare cancers at MSKCC. Our team surpassed our fundraising goal of $2,000. We’re proud to ride for a meaningful cause!
