We are thrilled to announce the ACE GNY 2023 Scholarship Luncheon Honorees! Each year at the event, ACE GNY recognizes accomplished industry leaders while raising funds for the program, including scholarships for students who will be majoring in A-E-C related fields.

This year’s honorees are Gerrard Bushell, President and CEO of the New Terminal One at JFK; Jamie Torres-Springer, President of MTA Construction and Development; and John Pierce, Chairperson of the ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY!

At the ACE GNY Scholarship Luncheon, we announced that Marcos Diaz Gonzalez, Executive Vice President of STV, will be the Chair-Elect of the ACE GNY Board of Directors! Marcos has been an enormous advocate for and supporter of ACE GNY throughout his time on the Board of Directors, as well as his time as a mentor and team leader. Congratulations Marcos!

Thank you so much to those who attended the 25th Annual ACE GNY Scholarship Luncheon last week! We were overcome with joy at the love, support, and excitement for our program. It was such an honor to get together in person to celebrate this special event after two years of being apart.

Through the generosity of our sponsors, we were able to award over $150,000 in scholarships to 42 deserving students who will be pursuing college degrees focused on architecture, engineering, and construction management.

We'd like to thank all of our sponsors for the event of whom we will be posting about today on social media. We would also like to thank the three honorees of this year's Scholarship Luncheon: Robert A.M. Stern, Founding Partner of Robert A.M. Last night, ACE GNY mentees participated in the Center for Architecture (AIANY) Women In Architecture-NYC Career Day event!

Students joined professional architects in breakout rooms to ask questions about their college and career pathways.

Thank you so much to the mentors who volunteered their time in advising budding architects, the students who attended the session, and the NYC Department of Education Career and Technical Education office for supporting with the event! A great time was had by all!
