Fun Friday round two, and the shop floor turned into a bakery. 🧁
Our second annual cupcake decorating competition brought out frosting skills nobody knew the team had. Steady hands at the workstations all week, steady hands at the piping bags on Friday. Turns out precision is precision.
This year, contestants picked their lane and competed across five categories and each one brought out something different.
Company pride, city pride, pure artistry, family-friendly charm, and beautifully chaotic disasters. Honestly, the “So Bad It’s Good” entries might have stolen the show.
Huge congrats to our winners (pictured), who walked away with the bragging rights and the prizes.
Extra sweet weekend too. Knicks got the W. 🏀🧡💙
Now the real question. What did they win? A year’s supply of frosting? Front row parking? A custom powder coated cupcake stand from the shop? The mystery continues. 🤔

Ever pressed the glowing blue button on a NYC subway platform? That was us. 🔵

We’re Boyce Technologies, and we build the communications and safety systems that keep transit moving. Robots welding. Lasers cutting. Waterjets carving steel. Powder coat clouds. Circuit boards coming to life. All of it happens under one roof in Long Island City, by a team that rides the same trains you do.

Swipe through. This is what gets built when New Yorkers build for New Yorkers.

We’re proud to have been a part of the design and build of the Deliverista Hub rest stop featured in The New York Times. A solution designed to give delivery drivers a real place to rest, charge, and stay safe.

At Boyce Technologies we design with speed, reliability, and urban-scale impact in mind bringing concepts to working solutions that are built to perform even in the toughest city conditions. This project reflects our commitment to innovation, life/public safety, and practical, thoughtful urban technology.

Delivery drivers keep NYC moving every day. Their breaks, wellbeing, and safety matter and creating dignified, secure places for them to rest is one concrete way we can make our streets safer for riders, pedestrians, and everyone who shares the road. We’re honored to build infrastructure that puts people first.

Thank you to our partners and the riders who helped shape this project we’ll keep building fast, humane solutions where they’re needed most. 🛠️☕️🚲🏙️ UrbanDesign CommunityFirst NYC
