Clean-up your press once every two weeks. 🧽🙂 Make sure to check areas that aren’t visible. A simple press wash will not harm the painted surface, and will also remove dried plastisol and spray glue. Knock off the dust bunnies.

Having a backlight on your washbooth is so important. Not only you'll be able to see that there is nothing left on the screen when you're reclaiming but also when washing off your stencils. The last thing you want is to set up your screens on press to then realize that some emulsion didn't washed off.

Well halftones are an important part of screen printing images... That is, a printing process that uses small dots to create an optical effect that appears to be a continuous tone to the human eye. This process of halftone printing looks best when the one printed ink color is darker than the background. For example, white t-shirts look great with black or dark colored ink.

Got my stainless steel countertop and new squeegees. There is no motivation like cleaning up your space or rearranging your space to give you a fresh perspective and a boost in productivity and creativity.
