SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation and design services - and is currently providing construction management services - to restore brownstone, brick masonry, and sheet metal elements at 135 Watts Street (the Fleming Smith warehouse, Stephen Decatur Hatch, 1891). This summer, we welcome five new interns to our practice, giving these students an introduction to our profession and to the art, science, and business of restoring New York City's buildings and infrastructure.

Shown clockwise from the top left are Zubeidaa Badri, interning in our Business office, Tiffany Yum, who is working with Municipal Expediting, Uriel Alpin, who is assisting our Practice Development team, and Satish Doobay and Mauro Palacios, both working with our Architecture and Engineering studios.

These interns hail from two programs: Ladders for Leaders and the NYC School Construction Authority High School Summer Internship program. We're proud to participate in both of these initiatives.
