I am so very sad to share the news that my beautiful Lance left this earth on Thursday, way too soon. To say my heart is shattered doesn’t come close to the emptiness inside. He was the sweetest soul, good even when he was bad! Love at first ride. My best friend. He saved my life many times- I guess we saved each other. Handsome boy, with your perfect diamond, so trustworthy and generous (he always pushed his hay into the aisle to share!), very smart, somewhat impish. So very very brave. Everyone loved you Lancey. M Now you can play fight with your bestie Chinquapin, two chestnut peas in a pod. You’ll gently run with your little brother Remy. Our Angel Christina will watch over all of you. I love you and miss you so much.

We have just added a Forging Cooking Utensils workshop to our Fall 2023 schedule! Blacksmith and instructor Marsha Trattner will lead students in basic forging techniques like shouldering, tapering, spreading, and sinking to create spoons out of steel bar stock. Students will also explore making bowls and a ladle - just in time for soup season!

Learn to make unique jewelry in a unique way - from forged steel in a blacksmith forge! This 2 day workshop will teach you hand forging techniques to transform steel into rings, necklaces and cuffs. This jewelry is completely unique and lasts (many) lifestimes!
