**NEEDED** Automation Shop Machinist

Job Responsibilities & Job Duties:

●Machine various material types to create parts to
company/customer specifications.

●Setup & operate vertical CNC's, ProtoTRAK
mills/lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, and
saws.

●Plans machining by studying work orders,
blueprints, engineering plans, materials,
specifications, orthographic drawings, reference
planes, locations of surfaces, and machining
parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and
tolerances (GD&T).

●Inspect first-article parts using calipers, mics,
scales, and other measuring devices to verify they
meet the given specifications & tolerances.

●Demonstrate a positive attitude while working
closely with others to meet needs & expectations.

●Must be able to work overtime if needed.

●Able to lift 50lbs. and stand for long periods of time.

●Demonstrate reliability and good attendance.

●Maintain a clean & safe work environment.

●Computer skills using Microsoft Windows & Office.

●Follow safety guidelines while wearing all required
personal protective clothing/devices.

●Must be versatile & willing to learn.

Desired Abilities:

●Experience with CAM software (MasterCAM &
HSM) & familiar with 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD &
SolidWorks).

●Ability to weld.

●System build, assemble & test.

●Understand industrial controls.
