We’re proud to invest in the community where we work. This year, 15 Diboll High School juniors completed the first year of a technical skills course launched in partnership with the school, earning their first certification along the way.

As Matt Wynn, Georgia-Pacific Continuous Improvement Leader and Technical Skills Class Coordinator, put it: "Our goal is to equip students with the core technical knowledge and practical experience to understand and apply operator, electrical, and mechanical maintenance skills in a real sawmill environment." We're just getting started. 💙

Our Diboll, Texas lumber facility recently provided funding for six new two-way radios for the Diboll Police Department, replacing devices that were nearly 20 years old and limiting officers' coverage across the city.

These radios will now support the roughly 6,000 calls Diboll officers respond to every year with improved sound quality and wider coverage.
