Jesuit Administrative Building. Built adjacent to the existing St. Ignacius Hall and Boiler Room originally constructed in 1926, this addition utilized cantilevered composite pile supported foundations to create a structurally independent addition.

We had a great time seeing everyone at this year’s AIA New Orleans Design Awards, and our friends at Waggonner and Ball were recognized for the Oscar J. Tolmas Center in City Park...one of our projects where we performed the civil and structural design! Interestingly, the original structure was built by the WPA during the Great Depression; we were glad to see that the restoration turned out so beautifully.

The LSU UREC gives users the opportunity for a dynamic fitness experience. The center’s form and layout maximize daylight and integrate open-air spaces with exercise terraces.

We set up a short residency at 111 Iberville to sketch some of the improvements to this almost 100 year old building to renovate and create a new hotel. With almost every column representing a unique condition, adding a penthouse floor on top has been an incredible challenge. We’re passionate about our city and preservation, and this project is one that we’re particularly proud of.
