We're excited to welcome a new intern, Michael Solomon, to our team! He comes to us through a partnership with GNO GIIP (GNO, Inc. Innovation Internship Program) and we are thrilled to add his talents. Having just graduated from UNO with his Electrical Engineering degree, Michael will be working in the Integrated Quotes Department. We look forward to the summer together!

The CPS/TSEA-sponsored NOLASPORT team is back racing this weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for another double header in the GT4 America series. The 2.5 mile course is often described as a roller coaster with its massive elevation changes and fast section known as “The Esses.” Drivers Matt Travis and Matheus Leist are eager to get back behind the wheel after their last outing at Sebring in early May.

The team started race #1 of Sebring at the front of the pack, but Travis was pushed off his line just before handing the car over to Leist. The team would still finish the race with a few bumps and bruises, and the car received a little cosmetic work to be ready for race #2 the next day. Leist started race #2 from pole position, and the team was able to bring home 2nd place after an incredible battle on the track.

Michael joined the Crescent Power Systems team in 2026 as a Sales Executive supporting the Integration business. He brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across the power, automation, and oil and gas industries, with a strong background in consultative sales, strategic business development, technical services, and operations leadership. Before joining CPS, Michael held leadership and business development roles in energy management and oilfield services, where he led large-scale strategic initiatives and supported customers across mission-critical, power generation, industrial, and energy markets.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Nuclear Engineering emphasis from Kansas State University and an MBA from the University of Kansas. Outside of work, he enjoys turning wrenches, powerlifting, and trying to keep up with his two children.
