Mother Nature is a crazy and beautiful thing at the same time. Sometimes it doesn’t take long for her to remind us just how powerful she can be.
Today was a tough day for our entire community.
So many homes and businesses throughout New Lexington, Crooksville, Roseville, and the surrounding area, Snider Flautt Lumber was hit by flooding today as well.
We’re not posting these pictures looking for sympathy. We’ll clean up, figure out what was damaged, and keep moving forward, just like so many other families and businesses in our community are doing tonight.
What makes today especially hard is knowing how many people are going through this again.
Last week, when Crooksville was hit, Snider Flautt donated 150 pounds of pulled pork (smoked for 16hours, along with bbq sauce to go with it) , along with other items, to help feed and support those affected.
Today, even with water in our own building, that doesn’t change.
We will continue doing whatever we can to help our neighbors get through this.
That’s what small communities do.
You help when your neighbor gets knocked down, and when it happens to you, you get back up and keep helping.
Our thoughts are with everyone in New Lexington, Crooksville, Roseville, and throughout Perry County who is cleaning up today/ tonight ( last week) and trying to figure out what comes next.
