North American Forgemasters (NAF) is an open-die forge facility that produces billet stock, ring preforms and forged shapes in sizes up to 270000 lbs.

U.S. Senator Dave McCormick recently visited North American Forgemasters in New Castle to see firsthand how Western Pennsylvania manufacturing supports our nation’s defense, energy, and critical infrastructure.

As the only facility in North America capable of melting, forging, heat treating, machining, and finishing ultra heavy steel forgings all under one roof, NAF produces components exceeding 440,000 pounds for naval propulsion, commercial nuclear, and other mission critical applications.

We were proud to showcase the skill of our workforce and the capabilities that position Lawrence County at the forefront of American manufacturing.
