Hello!

ReCONN welcomes usable building materials to keep them out of landfills and affordable for our community.

They can be dropped off during business hours at our store:

65 Burritt Street, New Britain
Fri-Sat 10-5
Sun 12-5

We accept kitchen cabinets, built-ins, doors, windows, unused insulation, flooring, roofing materials, hardware, power and hand tools, and working appliances.

Would you reuse it? Please donate items in working condition. Appliances should work and not leak; we can’t test those requiring water or nonstandard outlets.

No furniture or housewares. Think installation: hardwired chandeliers, yes; table lamps, no. Habitat for Humanity or Goodwill may accept furniture and housewares.

Large donations: We don’t offer cleanouts, but email us about a large donation you’ve set aside. We can assess pickup eligibility by email or a volunteer visit. Pickups depend on volunteer availability, and all items must be on the ground floor.

Thank you for supporting our volunteer-run nonprofit! Usable donations help us save time, labor, and disposal costs.

High-priority donations:

* EXTERIOR DOORS
* Roofing materials
* Paint
* Doors
* Windows
* Kitchen cabinet sets

A vintage bathroom vanity came in, sinkless. 36”W.

We have a number of marble counters with bathroom sinks that occasionally we find bases for! Nicole chose a tan for some balance to the dark finish.

The last few weekends have been huge for us!

Thank you to all the new customers, long time customers and volunteers who continue to turn out to support reuse in CONNecticut.
