Another busy day at our portable ready-mix plant in Waterbury! 🚧 We built this plant specifically to meet the demands of our Amazon project, bringing concrete production closer to the site and keeping construction moving efficiently. On Saturday, Tilcon Connecticut was proud to stand alongside community leaders and residents to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Portland’s Riverfront Access Project.✂️

In 2022, Tilcon granted the Town of Portland access through our property to help make this vision a reality. Seeing this project come to life is a testament to what can be achieved when partners come together with a shared commitment to the community.

We are honored to have played a role in expanding free public access to the Connecticut River and creating a space that families, residents, and visitors can enjoy for generations to come. Supporting projects that strengthen our communities is at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud to help make a lasting difference in the towns we call home. 🛶🚣

As a conclusion to May’s Mental health awareness month, Tilcon was proud to sponsor the Cherish the Children’s 4 hours mental health awareness go-kart race. Five of our workers formed a team and raced for a cause to help raise Mental Health Awareness. It was a day full of excitement, endurance, and bringing awareness to a cause that matters. 🏎️🏁

We had a blast welcoming Grove J. Tuttle Elementary second graders to our North Branford Quarry for a first-hand look at our quarry, equipment, and even our locomotive. Teaching the next generation about what we do is always a fun and educational day! 🚌
